See the ugly green color from the previous post. The story goes that I got this green canvas as a teenager when I went to Biashara Street in Nairobi and ordered a punching bag made out of this material. Not knowing which diameter I should choose, the tailored punching bag was too big and could never be used as such. I’ve ripped it apart and have since used this canvas on a lot of other projects. It’s good and strong green canvas normally used for car seats, tents and of course on safari-styled bags.
I sometimes think I should start an upholstery business because I really enjoy working with this material.
