You know I had to order my copy of this book.

So tempted to turn this into an AfriGadget, even though it isn’t a Gadget as such. La SAPE, la Societe des Ambianceurs et Personnes Elegantes, a group of people with their own style and set of moral values in the Congo/DRC… [imagine text here which was deleted because my internet connection / posterous acted up… 🙁 ]

To me, this book is more than a coffee book jewel – it’s a tribute to style and glorification of individuality in an otherwise transforming society.
